Ordering Help

the rose...is a very small and personal design business based in rural Sussex from a barn where the internet depends quite a lot upon the weather. I may not always answer the phone when you call, but PLEASE leave a message and I shall return the call as soon as I am able. Emails are always replied to in the shortest time space available.

My e-shop’s aim is to offer the same level of service as if you were standing here in the design studio but at the same time protecting your privacy and offering you a truly secure site.

Postage and Packaging Costs

I do not seek to make any profit on your postage costs.

Currently postage on UK orders is £4.95 on all orders under £250 which is but a contribution to the postage costs as everything is sent recorded delivery but sadly I have to £12.00 for all EU orders and £20 for all overseas orders.

All orders over £250 are free postage! All items are truly beautifully packaged and arrive safely with you, usually the next day as long as I can get the order in before 12 noon. I use good old fashion Royal Mail for parcels within the UK, but always on a signed for basis.

How to pay and security

Payment can be made securely online by Visa, Master Card, or Switch and Maestro debit cards. Really sorry but we cannot take American Express at the moment...

My e-shop uses the very latest encryption technology (SSL) to ensure that your transactions with me are private and protected as they travel across the Internet. I have chosen to use Paypal as my payment person, BUT you can pay using any credit card, you do NOT have to have a Paypal account.

When you proceed to make your purchase your browser makes a secure connection to the secure section of our website. Your browser will show a padlock in the bottom right corner to indicate that it has made a secure connection and depending on your browser a window may pop up to notify you that you are entering a safe area. An acknowledgement of your order will be sent by e-mail. Please note that you must supply us with a valid email address in your order to receive your electronic order confirmation.

Delivery

My aim is to send out your order within 48 hours of receipt of order. The joy of being a small company is that I can pay our full attention to customer service and I aim is to deliver your chosen items to the place and person of your choice, in perfect condition and in the shortest possible time. If there is going to be any delay beyond that I shall let you know by email (this is over and above your order confirmation email!)

Returns

To return an item simply complete the Returns Form supplied with your delivery and enclose it with the returned goods to :

Goodies must normally be returned unworn, unwashed and with the original tags on within 14 days of receipt.

I will credit your original method of payment, excluding delivery.

Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange any of the items you ordered, please follow the instructions above indicating that you would like an exchange on the Returns Form.

To avoid disappointment I suggest you check the website to see whether we have what you would like in stock, or contact us on 01243 535485 to confirm that your chosen item is in stock.
You will not be charged additional P&P on your replacement items as long as they are delivered to a UK address.

Note

Please note that I am not responsible for return postage. When you return goods, please obtain (free) proof of postage from the Post Office as I will not accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

Pricing Policy and Countries we ship to

We will ship worldwide....

All prices indicated are inclusive of V.A.T (where applicable) at the current rate and are quoted in pounds sterling but I are happy to ship worldwide and do so regularly.

However I am not registered for VAT free sales and every sale will carry UK VAT at the current rate (currently a stonking 20%) which will be automatically included in your bill. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.

Payment

Payment can be made securely online by Visa, Master Card, or Switch and Maestro debit cards. The credit/debit card that is being used must be yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment, I will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order. I also reserve the right to cancel your order. By submitting an order to us through our website you represent and warrant that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct and that when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full. If the billing details for your order are the same as your delivery address details, by placing an order on the website you confirm that you are the person referred to in the delivery address details. Otherwise, by placing an order, you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing details.

Privacy Policy

I respects your concerns about privacy and I follow strict guidelines under the Data Protection Act (1984, 1998) and do not pass any of your personal information to third parties. Postal addresses and telephone numbers are used for processing orders, delivering merchandise, obtaining information and when communication is needed directly relating to orders or enquiries placed through my site. Addresses may also be used for periodic mailings from the rose... about new products and services. Cookies are used in our eShop, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
